The Pirelli Calendar for 2016 was announced in early December - this time with
a twist. Known for its photographs of nude or almost nude supermodels, this time around the 43rd edition calendar, shot by Annie Leibovitz, features studio portraits of "13 women of outstanding professional, social, cultural, sporting and artistic accomplishment" (Pirelli.com). Next year's calendar women include ITF Women's World Champion tennis player Serena Williams, and beloved actress and comedian Amy Schumer. Inspirational women taking over fashion? We could get used to this.
