When Surfers And Models Collide: The Birth Of The Elite Longboard

As if being a model wasn't elite enough, that level of exclusivity has just crashed down into the surfing world as well: Lord & Taylor, Elite Management, and Kahuna Longboards launched the "Elite Longboard" last night on the rooftop of the Lord & Taylor store. The event gave partiers the first peek at customized Kahuna Longboards designed by Elite Management models. Each one is on sale, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Women In Need. Along with the glamorous model/surfboard "designers" running around, PT Walkley gave a live performance. That is, if you could catch a glimpse of him through all those long legs. Even though the event was strictly invite only, there was a way for common folk to find themselves amongst surf-boys and glamazons: If you purchased $250 or more in the Contemporary Departments of Lord & Taylor on Floors 2 & 10 up until the day of the event, you got a free VIP pass. Now I want to know - what happens if you return the stuff?
