Yesterday evening, the Paris Theater hosted the world premiere of "Amelia." Director Mira Nair joined stars Hilary Swank, Richard Gere and Ewan McGregor as well as famous faces Mariska Hargitay, Harry Connick, Jr., Ang Lee and Julia Ormond for the red carpet showing. Telling the life story of Amelia Earhart, the legendary female pilot who disappeared while attempting to fly around the world in 1937, the film opens to the public this Friday.
