Sushi Yasuda comes as close to a NYC sushi institution as one can get, having been a reliable staple for the city's sushi lovers for over a decade. While the restaurant's namesake Chef Naomichi Yasuda left in 2011 to open another project in his homeland of Japan, he left his midtown sushi shrine in the more than capable hands of his two longtime disciples Tatsuya
Sekiguchi and Mitsuru Tamura. Seats here still remain as tough to get as ever, but if you call ahead you might get lucky.
