Hidden within industry veteran David Bouley's Brushstroke is the tiny eight seat bar Ichimura, where sushi enlightenment awaits. Here, chef Eiji Ichimura gives a few lucky diners front row seats as he doles out impeccable cuts of fish, from marbleized toro to fluke fin and and spanish mackerel. Diners have the option to order from Brushstroke's main menu as well, one of the highlights being the chawan-mushi, a decadent steamed egg custard topped with black truffle sauce and chunks of Dungeness crab.
