You've such an amazing team. How did you all come together?
Maggie: I've been friends with Max and Jac for a long time. Max and I met in college at the University of Michigan, and Jac and I worked together at Madewell in its early days. We wanted to create a brand that speaks to a new, limitless generation of women. We're totally inspired by each other. Each of us comes from a different background - Jac from design, Max from PR, and I come from merchandising. We understand this industry, but also see that it's changing. There's a new woman out there, and a new way of reaching her.
