How have you noticed the Brooklyn food scene change in those years?
When I first moved here, around 15 years ago, I lived in Williamsburg. It’s the overtold joke of the area that everyone fights over who was here first. Everyone wants to have been the pioneer of the place. I feel like Williamsburg started the whole Brooklyn trend, though. I don’t think you notice a ‘scene’ rising when you’re actually in it. I guess food had something to do with the change in Brooklyn over the years. It’s mostly about young people being able to congregate. I think it’s often less about food and more about ‘hanging out’, and places kept popping up in Williamsburg. Now it has way too many bars and restaurants! It’s crazy.
