Do you have a favorite project?

Do you have a favorite project? I have a lot! Just two days ago, we closed HEARD•NY, the Nick Cave project at Grand Central. That was a very joyous experience. The Tribute in Light project was also incredibly meaningful to work on. I remember victims’ families saying things like ‘this is the most painful thing I've ever seen, and I’m so glad it exists.’ The idea that art can be something that’s difficult, but also important, and appreciated, and valued, is very, very exciting to me. We've participated in other times of crisis or tragedy, such as Paul Chan’s project Waiting for Godot in New Orleans in the Lower Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina. I feel profoundly grateful to have partnered with artists in the realization of projects that have meant so much to peoples’ lives.
