Where: 567 Hudson Street at West 11th Street
Sip whiskey in the presence of one of a celebrated poets - dead of course. It may be almost 60
years since Dylan Thomas had his final, fatal eighteen shots of whiskey here after claiming to
see the gates of hell, but he still spooks staffers as they're closing up and often haunts his favorite
table, located under a picture of him in the center of the room. He's also been seen walking
around outside the tavern.
