Patrick Bateman
Don't get me wrong: Patrick Bateman is stupid sexy. Anyone with two eyes and libido knows this. But American Psycho aficionados are the absolute worst. First of all, the point of the movie is that Patrick was schizophrenic and who was known to be really cowardly. Second of all, it's not that great of a movie in the first place. For me, it's not the costume, it's guy behind the costume. They're usually douchey, overgrown frat bros who are like "Wow, I should be good-looking for Halloween." That's the costume in a nutshell. To wear the shit they wear to work and be extremely hot. The kinds of guys that go as Patrick Bateman are definitely the douchebags that work in M&A and make the "murders and executions" joke all the time. My cousin is the VP of M&A at Goldman Sachs and even he doesn't do this because unlike me, he didn't inherit the douche gene in our family.
