Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting

On Wednesday November 28th enjoy the annual lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas tree. This year, the 80-ft tall spruce was brought in from Mount Olive, NJ after weathering through Hurricane Sandy last month. It will be decorated with 30,000 multi-colored LED lights and topped with a Swarovski star. The festivities start at 7:00pm between West 48th and West 51st Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues. Last year preceding the lighting of the tree were live performances from artists such as Cee Lo Green, Faith Hill, Michael Bublé, Carole King, Katherine McPhee, Justin Bieber, and the Radio City Rockettes.
