Application:
Green nails - Base coat, two coats of color, and a top coat.
Accent nail - Base coat, two coats of white, and the design.
Design:
1. Use
Revlon's Matte Suede, and feather stroke marks on to your accent nail using a nail art brush.
2. Layer the other two greens into a tree-like design once the matte layer has dried. Add more matte polish if necessary.
3. Dot red marks for ornaments and add a yellow dot at the top of the tree for the star.
4. Seal with a top coat.
Tips: Add a fast-dry top coat on the white nail before you add the tree. It's OK to mess up the tree a little since you'll be feathering the marks anyway - they'll give off the pine needle effect. If you really need to, use a dotting tool for the ornaments. For a 3D-looking tree, nix the topcoat.
Why we love it: The texture of the tree really comes out with the matte polish. Plus, nothing screams the holidays like a Christmas tree- even if it is on your ring finger.
