"Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations"

6. Spend the day in adoration over the "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations" exhibit at the MET. This exhibit by the Costume Institute parallels the work of two iconic designers, Elsa Schiaparell, who was known for surrealist art collaborations and Miuccia Prada, who turned her family business in to an empire. The show was curated by Andrew Bolten who put these two designers together.
"Both women share this absolute passion to challenge our expectations about fashion. The show is really about many conversations, the two women, past and present, and the objects themselves enter into a dialogue with each other."
The exhibit opened today and runs until August 19th. [CBSNews] [Photo via]
