Chef Michael White's Altamarea Group will open the next restaurant in their ever-growing food empire tomorrow. The Butterfly, a cocktail bar and supper club, is a change from his other restaurants, Osteria Morini, Nicoletta, and of course, the famed Marea. With a new Tribeca location, a focus on cocktail specialist Eben Freeman's drinks, and New American cuisine, this marks a new chapter in the star chef's career. We were invited to preview the new space, where we had a chance to sit down with Michael. Read on for our interview and take a look at some of the delectable dishes you'll need to try tomorrow!
