Last night at the Jets Tear up the Pierre event, Eli Obus filmed an interview with Danielle Staub as her crew filmed her own show "Social." You can explore the mis-en-abyme implications to your recursive little heart's content. Oh, and we asked her about cougars!
You may have noticed of late that Eli and I have been conducting rigorous scientific research examining the behavior of cougars in their natural habitat. I got a little tongue-tied last night when interrogating the Jersey diva delight, and she had this to say about her prowling feline prowess:
"I don't like titles," she said of the cougar label. "I think that someone that looks like me is of course going to attract people. I look younger than I am. I'm going to attract people that are younger. And let's face it: if the young girls would keep their hands off the older men, I might meet men my own age that are available."
She also, in a profound ontological sense, discussed her quest for longevity--immortality?--through her self-branded reality stardom.
"I'm 48, and I've just begun," she said. Them's cougar fightin' words. Rawr!
