You tend to design with an emphasis on simplicity, which I think probably falls back to keeping people confident and elevating them. What’s the process like when deciding what product to make and design?
First off, what I always love to do is imagine a guy walking up to a rack, and I want them to feel confident that they can wear every single item that I designed—that might sound ambitious, but we don’t want to stifle any guys. We want them to approach our clothing and feel like it’s just going to elevate them and they feel instantly: “Hey, I can wear this bomber jacket while I’m going out to dinner with this girl, or with my family over the holidays, and also maybe even dress it up and take it to work, or even wear it with a t-shirt.” Generally, we like to add a ton of versatility to all of our clothes, and that’s what I strive to do.
