Lydia Hearst, Supermodel Coach For Season 2 Of "The Face"
Lydia HearstHow are you feeling this Fashion Week?

I’m excited, I’m a little bit nervous, and I’m just really happy to be here right now.

Do you have any survival tips? Anything you rely on for Fashion Week?

I do. Honestly, the most important thing you can do is stay hydrated. And I think a lot of people forget that when you’re going, and you’re running around from show-to-show, and you’re having late nights and events, the best thing you can do for yourself is stay hydrated.

What about some fall trends? Is there anything you’re excited for this season?

There are actually a couple of things I’ve been noticing, where people are sort of tuning down their wardrobe, but accentuating with a pop in their handbag or with their wallet and their little clutch. So I’m sort of excited to see what people are showing up with either at events or even on the street with their style, and having just something bright, fabulous or neon. You’re seeing a lot more yellows and pinks than you used to. So it’s a good change from just basic black.

We couldn’t agree more. And it’s a great way to get involved in the trend when you have an accessory rather than doing a whole look from head to toe.

It really is, and its sort of fun you get to play it up. You can change it every single day or every hour if you want. If you have enough handbags, it's fun.

What are you looking forward to the most this fall?

Getting started on "The Face." I think it’s really going to be exciting. I love Naomi, I love Anne, and I think it’s going to be a good healthy competition.
