What’s some of the inspiration behind this album? It has such a wide range sampling with Eurythmics, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, etc. and I think on “Did It On Em” one of you said "tropical?"
Animal (drummer): "All our band members have different backgrounds--jazz, go-go, rock... Those are our inspirations and we found a way to make it work. We think of our sound as 'Tropical Kool-Aid' because there's so many different things in one drink: strawberry banana, etc, and that describes us."On the different samples. "We want our music to reach different people, ya know. We want out music to create certain feelings. Like, everyone has been heart broken, people like to party and have a good time, etc. We just want our music to relate to everybody and every emotion."
