Greenpoint offers a chance to explore a wealth of cuisines, without all the crowds of Williamsburg or the costliness of the Manhattan. Under one lower-rise, coffee-scented umbrella, Greenpoint has it all. So it is a credit to Selamat Pagi that we have lived for the last month with one foot inside its door, visiting several times a week to get our fix of relentlessly flavorful, cockle-warming food.
