The interior of Selamat Pagi doesn’t play up to its island-inspired menu. There’s not a paper umbrella in sight. Instead, the walls remain white and pastel green, pots of greenery decorate the surfaces, and the tables are crafted with solid, organically shaped wood. There are sunny tones without pushing the ‘beach vibe’ too much, and during the day the place fills with sunlight and music while at night, candles flicker against the textured walls as the air fills with spice and conversation.
