Interview: Artist Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic
When did you get your first big break?
I get asked this question a lot. I don’t think I've ever had one “Big Break.” It’s been a slow, arduous process to create the body of work that I have. There certainly have been some highlights that have subsequently opened doors for me. My directorial debut (SCRIPTURA VITAE) for the UK’s Channel 4 is a big one. The MoMA last year was huge for me. But honestly, I think my break hasn't come yet. It may never come… but I’ll continue working just as hard as I always have.
