You've spent time in Tokyo and have family in Miami...and I'm sure you've been just about everywhere else. What keeps you in NYC?The People. Point blank, NY is still such a central hub and regardless of how wired our lives become, how telepresent we can be with each other… being in a room with someone is still so very necessary to so many pursuits. The social fabric of New York is why I’m still here.When you come from nothing, from nowhere, with no connections nor contacts to speak of, New York is the city where you can work tirelessly to build a world around you.
