Even outside of the Full Moon party, bands and musicians are frequently part of your events. Have you always had ties to the music industry?
MP: Music is key to MATTE. I think it informs all of our work both as an inspiration and actually being present in the DNA - from events to videos to branded content. My ties are through booking, a brief stint in music PR, and at a talent agency.
BK: Music is our culture. Our primary one, at least. Film and content are our mediums.
