What are you aiming for when you curate the lineup for Full Moon?

MP: I think it's very important for the musical curation to really be reflective of our taste. Full Moon is dance-y fun, electronic-flavored pop with a soul of funk. A mix of live bands and DJs is essential. We want the audience to trust us and be super psyched about a couple of acts and leave with another handful of acts they now love. I think Full Moon's sound has evolved a bit, and while it will always be super fun and dance-y, I think it's gotten more mature as we have grown up with it. More deeper electronic and diverse live bands. Acts like Son Lux, Claptone, and Young & Sick, while a little out of the mainstream, I think will really blow people away. BK: I suppose this day will end, or maybe not, but we really do pick music we like, then apply some math to it. Full Moon is about discovery for at least 50% of the crowd, they come open minded, and leave with a roster of new music, and that's a win/win/win for everyone: consumer, producer, and artist. MR: This is Max and Brett's realm but I can speak as a consumer on this side. I typically know about 30% of the lineup beforehand and end up leaving with new artists I learned about directly because of the concert. Brett's right in that it's really about discovery for a lot of us with this party. Miami Horror
