The Headstrong Project is a nonprofit dedicated to providing mental health treatment for veterans and their families. On May 8th, the organization will be hosting the "Words of War" Benefit, a cocktail fundraiser featuring performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Girls' star Adam Driver. We spoke with the project's Chairman and Executive Director, Zachary Iscol, about the mental effects of war, the importance of understanding them, and the essential role that art plays in recovery.
