Just admit it - you have, at least once in your life, on some sunny Sunday maybe, looked on in awe at that effortlessly stylish mother and her flock of chic, impeccably dressed children. Sure, they look like they just stepped out of a magazine editorial, but chances are they just shop at Maisonette. Then again, the former isn't so far off.
Sylvana Ward Durrett and Luisana Mendoza Roccia are former Voguettes who know a thing or two about high fashion; in fact, they both began their careers as executive assistants to HBIC Anna Wintour. This year, inspired by their own experience shopping as mothers, and noticing a void in the children's retail landscape, the friends came together to launch a luxury website for cool kids and the grown-ups who dress them.
From adorable clothing to fun and functional furniture, Maisonette is truly a one-stop shop for quality products and brands from around the world. Vogue even called it the Net-a-Porter for kids. So how do these two fashionista founders curate the ultimate shopping experience - and, more importantly, what do they do in their downtime? Click through to find out.
