Last Night's Parties: Julia Roberts Hangs Out At Don Hill's, Jeremy Piven Plays Pool

by Mara Siegler · April 25, 2011

Celebs, movie enthusiasts, and those who enjoy open bar continued to party for the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend!  Jeremy Piven showed off his skills, Orlando Bloom smoked and got wasted and hung out with Paul Rudd, Ozzy Osbourne and the rest of the family indulged in mini burgers, Julia Roberts found the Don Hill's bathroom less than appealing and more. Take a look!

2011 TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL Presents the World Premiere of ANGELS CREST

    Where: BMCC Tribeca PAC

Who Was There: Lynn Collins, Thomas Dekkar, Jeremy Piven, Gaby Dellal, Kate Walsh, Mira Sorvino, Natasha Lyonne

Other Details: After the screening of Angel's Crest, cast members and oddly, Natasha Lyonne, head to 675 in Meatpacking. Jeremy stayed only briefly, but did make sure to show off his pool skills before taking off into the night, presumably to find a sushi restaurant.

Tribeca Film Festival World Premier of THE GOOD DOCTOR

Where: Borough of Manahattan Community College, W Downtown

Who Was There: Rob Morrow, Riley Keough, Orlando Bloom, Sorel Carradine, Lance Daly, Paul Rudd

Other Details: Orlando Bloom was out to party at the W for his film's afterparty. When two women approached to try and flirt, he asked if they liked the film and then made his exit. "Well, I'm getting drunk right f***ing now and am going to head over there," he said, according to Gatecrasher. He was also the only party guest allowed to smoke, even thought staff opened up the terrace. Everyone who tried to light up was told to put it out or else be removed from the party. Celebrities: They can do whatever they want. The rest of the night, Orlando, seen here sporting a drunk, shit-eating, I'm famous so fuck you Bloomberg grin, hung out with the ever-adorable Paul Rudd. Orlando's wife Miranda Kerr, who just gave birth, also stopped by, but left early. Zoe Kravitz meanwhile, showed off her moves on the dancefloor.

The DJ played a slew of rock n roll favorites, oldies, and of course, some Ozzy.  [Via]

Tribeca Film Festival, World Premiere of JESUS HENRY CHRIST

Where: BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, Don Hill's

Who Was There: Julia Roberts, Danny Modor, Samantha Weinstein, Dennis Lee, Robert De Niro

Other Details: Julia Roberts functioned as producer, while her husband Danny Moder shot this film about a little genius boy conceived in a petridish in search of his biological father. After the screening, guests head over to Don Hill's for the after party where the VIP's ordered pizza and listened to a live performance of a band (that literally no one could figured out the name of-but they were good) that has a song in the flick. Julia finds the restrooms there just as gross as everyone else. Weirdly, the children from the film stopped by the gritty bar past midnight and indulged in candy, both a perfect Easter treat and their equivalent of booze.  [Via]
