Casey Neistat Has Some Big News

by Stephanie Maida · November 22, 2016

If you've ever been anywhere remotely cool in New York, there's a good chance you've seen a sunglassed dude ducking low with a camera in one hand and a phone in the other, simultaneously Snapchatting and videoing for his millions of loyal fans and followers. Casey Neistat, the quintessential YouTuber and filmmaker, is a moving image maven, a master of guerrilla videos. Back in 2015 he began a daily vlog in order to motivate himself creatively, a move that would amass even more viewers who came back for a glimpse into his life and projects.

Yesterday, however, the 35-year-old social media sensation announced that after 18 months he would be ending his everyday posts. In his last video blog, which goes on for over 10 minutes, he explains that the "experiment" was no longer challenging to him and that, he would "have to kill this before [he] can give birth to what’s next."

So what is next? Millions are indeed waiting to find out. Watch the full send off below.
