Marianne Faithfull
Perfectly capturing the bittersweet realization that things have to end (even if you don't want them to), The Rolling Stones' timelessly romantic (and tear-inducing) "Wild Horses" was inspired by Mick Jagger's tumultuous relationship with Marianne Faithfull. Though it was originally a song by Keith Richards about his newborn son, Mick commandeered it after his girlfriend's near-fatal overdose and depression spiral. Their relationship was disintegrating but *sobs* WILD HORSES COULDN'T DRAG HIM AWAY.
