Michelle Trachtenberg hits SL, Coyote Ugly gets ugly, and a hot DJ makes his great return. There's a fight club movie fundraiser, and Southern Hospitality graces Hell's Kitchen. It's all here in today's nightlife round-up. Have at it!

"Michelle Trachtenberg and the men of Maxim: Great minds think alike. Tuesday night, the 'Gossip Girl' star celebrated her cover for the racy men's mag with a party at SL. Trachtenberg called her photo (in which she wears tight, strappy black) a 'little sensual and fetishy'--and the magazine's top brass enthusiastically approves!"

    2. Coyote Gets Uglier [EV Grieve]

"Rats, mice, and filth flies--oh my!: Looking at the Coyote Ugly DOH violations. When we first mentioned the other night that the DOH had shut down Coyote Ugly, the most recent report on file mentioned 40 points worth of violations...ut that one was old! The DOH has filed the latest inspection."

Turns out Coyote Ugly had 90 points of violations. Eik.

    3. DJ Paul Van Dyk Returns To New York City [BlackBook]

"Paul van Dyk will play Terminal 5 this Saturday. He's an international circuit DJ who was voted to the top by DJ Magazine in both 2005 and 2006, and he's got gobs of similar awards. He's sold millions upon millions of records. The world has eleated DJs to rockstar status. Their gigs, sold as 'all about the music,' have actually become extended concerts with state-of-the-art visuals. While so many are distracted by hemlines and after parties this week, the house heads are excited for Paul's return to NY."

    4. Male Boxer Movie Fund Raiser [The Lo-Down]

"All this talk about underground fighting has led to a fundraiser for the documentary. Model Boxers, that is being made about one 'pretty boy boxer in particular--Rockstar Charlie. Charlie and his friends/posse, the Big Gunz, will be hosting a big event this Saturday at Santos Party House to help raise funds for the movie."

    5. Southern Hospitality Opens in Hell's Kitchen [Zagat]

"A new outpost of barbecue joint and upscale sports bar Southern Hospitality quietly opened this week on Ninth Avenue. Actually, scratch quietly--a walk-by last night found the place mobbed (for a private party), even while workers were still hanging the neon signage on the exterior."
