Count Etienne de Beaumont’s Automotive Ball, 1924

Less scandalous as it was outlandish, Count Etienne de Beaumont’s Automotive Ball called for his wealthy buddies to attend his masquerade dressed as, well, cars. This likely did not surprise their guests, as Beaumont and his wife Edith were known for the all-out affairs at their mansion on Rue Duroc in Paris every summer. But really - cars?
