Shiba Inu
The Shiba Inu is a breed that easily adapts to apartment life. They are very quiet, easy to train, and shed mildly. Shibas do have a lot of energy, but if you are willing to take them on plenty of walks, they will be happy in a small space. Shiba Inus are very loyal dogs and love their owners, but get shy around strangers. They also have very bold and stubborn personalities - just like every other New Yorker we know.
