In need of something fancy and fun to look forward to this summer?
Why not hit the Hudson in serious style?
The Mark Hotel's 70-foot Herreshoff sailboat is back for the season, available for private rentals and ticketed experiences that are sure to impress.
Beginning May 24th, the Upper East Side mainstay will be hosting a slew of two hour cruises sure to impress the most discerning foodie. Chase the sunset while feasting on a menu of bites by Jean-Georges (for $525 per person) or get silly on seafood with a parade of expensive, caviar-heavy canapés by Caviar Kaspia (for $575 per person).
Not into rubbing shoulders with just anyone?
Of course you can always hire the boat out for a private evening... for a price.
A two-hour cruise for two - inclusive of food and drinks - starts at $7,000. Make it a big bash and host up to 25 guests (though you'll want to choose your friends carefully as it's up to $395 per additional person). Oh, and for the all-in cost, don't forget to add tax and tip.
Too rich for your blood? There's always packing a picnic and riding the Staten Island Ferry. That commuter cruise ship is free!
