Yes it's by Eli Zabar, no it's not a deli. After hours, Eli's Night Shift on the Upper East Side turns from cafe to cocktail and craft beer bar. The atmosphere is casual enough, but the quality drinks show you know your stuff. Plus the kitchen is open 'til midnight, if the date goes well enough to extend.
