Thank you for the overwhelming support and love on my post yesterday. It is so lovely to be reminded of how much people love NYC ❤️ #newyorktough . I came across this beauty yesterday, and while I was photographing it, at least three socially distant passers by either waved, smiled (I think they smiled, still not an expert on noticing smiles behind masks), or stopped to discuss how beautiful the wisteria is. A few months ago this interaction would have made me smile but probably not left a lasting impression on me. However, after over two months of being exclusively indoors and getting my social fix from behind a video screen, I can really appreciate the little day to day interactions we have with total strangers. . Let’s smile more at others behind our masks, so that we may all start getting better at recognizing masked smiles 😊 . . . . . . . . . . . #facadelovers #bitsofbuildings #ihaveathingforwalls #ihavethisthingwithdoors #streeteasyfinds #houseportrait #nycarchitecture #wisteriahysteria #theprettycities #loves_nyc #travelerinnewyork #newyork_ig #topnewyorkphoto #thisisnewyorkcity #made_in_ny #prettycitynewyork #mysecretnyc #empirestateofmind #lifeinnewyork #newyorker #nycdotgram #nycityworld #what_i_saw_in_nyc #streetsofnyc #pictures_of_newyork #seeyourcity #nycprimeshot #lovelettertonyc #behindthescenesnyc
