The Algonquin Hotel
In the 1920s, there was a group of writers who dubbed themselves the "Algonquin Round Table" after becoming regulars at this hotel's bar. Notable members of this group were Harpo Marx, George Kaufman, and Dorothy Parker. The staff claims that Parker frequents the hotel most often, the hotel having the most importance to her as the site of her attempted suicide.
