Caffe Reggio

Caffe Reggio
While busy city-goers and morning students are hustling to get to their daily obligations, that oh-so-popular beverage that gives them the extra push every day is busy roasting in millions of places around the world. But no one thinks to recall the starting point of this heavily relied on, go-to beverage around the globe. Of course, it dates back way beyond the days of Starbucks and Dunkin.' In fact, it's right in Manhattan. Residing along MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village, the 85-year-old Caffe Reggio was America’s first cafe to serve Cappuccino! It’s no surprise America’s first taste of the masterpiece originated in the Big Apple. Cafe Reggio- 119 MacDougal St New York, NY [Photo via]
