New Yorkers took to the streets this week and though we're in a time of obvious unrest, there were so many moments full of hope, unity, and compassion.

Some uplifting scenes include Sauce Pizzeria handing out slices to protestors, people creating water stations from the back of their car, crowds breaking out into song...

As a photographer, it's sometimes more difficult to capture the non-action of such a passionate movement, but it's in those moments that people can see that these protests are unifying people rather than dividing them.
