Peter Davis, Editorial Scenester Extraordinaire

Peter DavisI’m a loyalist and I go to the same places every weekend. When I stay in Brooklyn, I eat at Diner. They change the menu daily so I never get bored and I honestly think Diner has the best food in America. When I leave Williamsburg, I eat at Sant Ambroeus on Lafayette Street. I only go to the Lafayette Street location because I adore Ali who runs the place and I know all the guys who work there and they all say hi and shake my hand like I’m Henry Hill in Goodfellas. I always run into so many NYC people I like there: artists like Curtis Kulig, Angelica Hicks, Andre Saraiva and my good pal Donald Robertson when he’s in town. I like eating with Ruba Abu-Nimah - who is a brilliant art director and a badass chick. When I’m not eating, I look at art from museums to galleries to studio visits. For dinner, I am a regular at Indochine and have been for years. Jean-Marc is a pal and I also only run into people I like there. After dinner, I Uber home. I never go 'out-out' at night on the weekend - not because it’s amateur night as they call it but because every party monster needs a night or two off. [Photo via @PeterDavisNYC]
