You know that feeling you get when you match with a cute (read: 6'4) guy on Hinge, he starts sending you flirty messages, you go out on a great date or two, and then... he ghosts you? 

Ha, well, every single person who dates men knows the feeling. But apparently, a certain subset of twenty-something women in New York City have all recently gone through this with the same guy - and now they've taken to TikTok to call him out.

Single ladies of NYC, beware of "West Elm Caleb." And if you've already given him your number, you may be entitled to compensation.

So the stories go, this dude's repertoire includes sending moody Spotify playlists, "love bombing" via text, and then ghosting either before or after going on a few dates, only to follow up with some bullshit apology text later. I mean, yeah, this sounds like most guys, but Mr. West Elm seems to have had the unfortunate ability (and superhuman bandwidth?) to do this to A LOT of girls, bringing on his own John Tucker Must Die-esque downfall. Hello, doesn't he know that, as a furniture designer, he's supposed to be an Aidan?!

Heads up, boys: It's a small world here in New York, and social media has only made it smaller. If you don't want to end up as a trending topic on TikTok, try not to be a douchebag while dating!
