Um, WTF?!
Cobi Levy, an owner of beloved Soho bistro Little Prince, took to Instagram this week to share harrowing news of a hateful arsonist targeting the spot's rainbow Pride flag.
"Last night a woman stopped her car, got out to set our Pride Flag on fire," Levy wrote on Monday, with an accompanying photo of the aftermath.
"The NYFD saved the day putting out the fire before it spread inside. Facade is burnt, inside is smoky but we will be fine. Nobody was injured. I thought about releasing her picture but opted to take the high road. We’ll rebuild and the police will do their part. Omnia vincit amor. And to the woman who lit the flag, we have plenty more and I’m putting one up today."
By Monday afternoon, a new flag, honoring Black, Trans, and LGBTQ+ pride was defiantly back on display.
Seriously, who the f*ck lives in New York City and gets triggered by gay rights?! While the identity of the bigot is still unknown, here's hoping we meet her in court.
