The Bushwick Country Club, which is not in Bushwick (it’s in Williamsburg) nor a country club, home of the original pickle back shot, has two slushie machines twirling with their signature boozy recipes. Jack Daniels and Coke or Sweet Tea Vodka slushies run for $6, and are the best way to get a quick buzz and a nice cool down on a summer night. Not too sweet and easily slurpable through a straw, these boozy slushies (paired with the bar’s complimentary cheese puff baskets), are the key to surviving a Brooklyn summer.
