Spiked Snow Cones
Zengo serves a spiked snow cone in their tequila library bar, La Biblioteca. Fruit syrups including tamarind, hibiscus and strawberry are poured over ice, followed by a shot of tequila. Spiked snow cones have been known to pop up at classic New York establishments like Harlem’s Red Rooster and Carroll Garden’s Marco Polo Ristorante. Though sources from both restaurants couldn’t confirm the return of these frozen boozy treats, we’re keeping them on our radar for summer 2014!
