Lincoln Center
Lincoln Center's steps may take the prize as NYC's most welcoming - after all, there are embedded LED lights in the steps that spell out "welcome" in more than one dozen languages.
In addition to serving as the crossing grounds for opera goers and balletic beauties, the steps are used for movie premieres and fashion week.
And as if one set of stairs weren't enough, explore Lincoln Center's surroundings and you'll find a few more tempting spots to take a rest, including the sprawling grass Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Lawn and the
Alice Tully Hall steps.
