3. Williamsburg

Good ol' Williamsburg has come a long way since being dubbed the hipster capital of the world. Yes, the VICE offices are still there, along with vintage stores, bars, and brunch spots, but the population has gone from "starving artist" to "Murray Hill transplant" (remember that horrible reality show?). Ever since the Whole Foods opened on Bedford, it's become a go-to for Young Urban Professionals, but it's still a worthwhile place to live, if you can afford it. The only downside of course is how annoying the L train is.
