The Alice Austen House

The Alice Austen House in Staten Island was originally the home of Alice Austen, one of the earliest female photographers. The New York Parks Department has opened this historic home to the public in the hopes of offering individuals the chance to broaden their cultural perspective and gain inspiration from the art and life of Austen. This museum is a great to sit by the water and debate whether you should quit your job and go back to art school.
