Pass The Popcorn

Forget Netflix and Chill. It’s getting overplayed and we’ve all really got to move past that euphemism. Actually watch a movie with those bountiful Tinder nouveau bros. You won’t be disappointed with their movie reference game – you’ll get a few laughs in and they’ll be super into it. It’s basically flexing to them. But screw paying twenty bucks to sit uncomfortably and silently in a dark cinema. Cinemas are for teen group dates and legit couples. So where, you ask, are you meant to go to watch this movie/impression show? Be old school and take your date to an open-air film screening. They don’t just happen in the summer, check NYC Parks to see what’s showing this month. It’s a little adventurous and means you have to get all bundled up together, but what better way to get to know each other faster? And when it really is too cold to spend 90+ minutes outside head to Eventbrite to snag a free spot at Brooklyn Bazaar’s next movie night.
