Spartacus and Cassandra, June 5th
It is a film that breaks the stereotypes associated with Romanian immigration. It is a story of two children, Spartacus and Cassandra, who moved from Romania to France. In France, they are foreigners that social services can't help. They have to be responsible for their alcoholic father and mentally-unstable mother. The filmmaker captures the siblings' harrowing story. It is a sad and bright film that will leave your heart heavy.
