The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) held its Dining By Design event on Thursday at Pier 94. With a little help from the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, the event showcased the professionals that mesh the worlds of design and excellent cuisine together in the name of raising funds for HIV/AIDS awareness and care.-

As one of the country's largest proponents of caring for people living with HIV/AIDS, DIFFA relies on the design communities to help raise money to support AIDS organizations around the world. Those involved come from all corners of the fine art and visual art spectrum (including photography, architecture, and fashion design), and they offer up their talents and expertise on nights like "Dining For Design" to raise money for education, treatment, and public policy initiatives on behalf of those living with the disease.
