Original Penguin and Filter Magazine's VIP shopping event took place last Thursday at its Soho store, and even though it was our country's day of tomfoolery and trickery, the only crazy thing that happened was guests received 20% off of everything. But we're sure they're not complaining.

The Magic Hat Brewing Company hooked everyone up with refreshments and people meandered around the store to the sounds of The Antlers and Au Revoir Simone. And seeing as the weather has been absolutely, positively, marvelous lately, we're sure the music and the brews had everyone roaming the store with an extra spring (HA!) in their step. That is if the 20% discount didn't already excite them.
